La tarjeta USB PCIe proporciona una práctica solución de expansión para hosts/estaciones de trabajo/servidores de PC que no tienen USB en la ranura trasera o tienen pocos puertos USB.
Ventajas del producto:
1. Soporta múltiples ranuras PCI Express (x1, x4, x8, x16), soporta ranuras modelo PCIe 3.0/2.0.
2. El ancho de banda de velocidad de transmisión puede ser teóricamente de hasta 5 Gbps.
3. No es necesario conectar ningún cable de alimentación adicional de la fuente de alimentación.
4. Funciona con múltiples sistemas (Windows 7/8/10/11, Mac OS 10.8.2 (Above) y Linux.
Nota:
1. No instale esta tarjeta con el PC encendido.
2. Si la tarjeta no funciona, comprueba si hay problemas en la ranura PCI-E de la placa base.
3. Solo aplicable a chasis/servidores de tamaño estándar, no aplicable a mini chasis/servidores. Este conector USB-A de tarjeta USB es vertical. La altura vertical es de aproximadamente 1,6 cm. Comprueba la altura de la ranura de expansión en la parte posterior del computadora antes de elegir. Para el puerto USB A, se recomienda tomar un cable USB (extremo A) y ver si cabe horizontalmente en la ranura de la funda. Luego toma el cable USB e insértalo en la tarjeta para que centre los puertos.
4. La versión de ranura PCI-E para dispositivos USB/PCI-E puede tener limitaciones de rendimiento en el rendimiento/rendimiento de la velocidad de transferencia de datos de la tarjeta USB PCIe.
5. Esta tarjeta solo soporta transferencia de datos y no soporta carga rápida PD o transmisión de señal de video (HDMI/Thunderbolt, pantallas), asegúrate de prestar atención antes de elegir.

I needed this for my link cable to my Oculus Quest 3. It was easy to install and worked first time without any additional drivers needed in Windows 11.

It's a well made and well-priced little card, and it took longer to open my PC case than it did to install. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking to expand the number of USB ports they have.

So the card itself works perfectly. The problem is the space that has the USB ports connecting. So if you install it like a regular expansion card the back of the computer slot in which the card is installed is covered over with the fastening bracket. In my case I did minor computer surgery to get this thing fitting right. Here's what I did: The card fit in properly but it was nearly impossible to put the USB devices into the USB receptacle. So I sniped the mounting point of the metal reinforcement braket above and below where the card sits yet I kept the upper most part of the bracket intact so that the cards can still be secured. Anyway, now I've got some sexy (if I do say so myself) kit for providing USB Type A and USB Type C in one card with a whopping 7 ports, AND it doesn't require any external power source but rather gets its power from the PCIe card slot itsellf. I hope these directions guide you well. If you're a computer tech it is a minor inconvenience, if you're a newbie and someone new in the computer field then this might not be your best recommendation. Actually I would say emphatically, do not buy this card if you're not an experienced techie. If you are a techie, however, this will work wonders. When removing the securing bracket what i used was needle nose pliers and I rotated it from up to up to down and down to up until the reinforcing bracket cracked. You want to make sure that the mounting hole at the top of the bracket is still in place and usable so that the cards can still be secured into place, just without the vertical reinforcement. The quality is 10/10, its just an inconvenience getting it fit for the slot. I'd say go for it if you know what you're doing.

Works well, no driver installs necessary, but i found that sometimes if I remove a connected device from one of its ports, the whole card will error and give driver issues and won't work until pc restart.

Ports are not aligned properly. If there is not enough clearance on the slot of the case , it won’t let you plug any USB.
