The product works great! I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to clarify that 2 of the 3 photos posted have incorrect information. First, in the photo Janie posted, the pad was upside down. That is why the pad didn't absorb anything; the pee was on the plastic underside. (No shame... I put a pad upside down once too, and the same thing happened to me.) Second, in the photo M. McClung posted, the dog clearly peed next to the pad - not on it - and the pee only spread far enough to reach the pad but mostly go under it. (My dog has done this, as well.)Finally, if you expect the sides of the pad to raise as much as they do in the advertising, you'll be disappointed. Though the image is exaggerated, the borders DO prevent the pad from leaking, so I'm happy with the product! I wish they were a little more affordable, but that would be my only complaint.

I absolutely love these pee pads and have been using them for quite a few years. However I do recall with my last pet the backing was a light blue. I am having difficulty determining which is the bottom and which is the top of these newer pads which are now white on the bottom. Several times the pad was inadvertently placed upside down and so the pee just stayed in a puddle. These pads are definitely worth the money, they work extremely well and I'll continue to use them without hesitation … I just wish that there was a better way of distinguishing the bottom of the new pee pads to avoid runoff problems from putting it down bottom side up.

I have used pee pads for my little dogs for over 15 years now off and on. The biggest problem with them has always been the edge leaks. NO MORE edge leaks!!!! These are the best! I have not had a leak over the edge even when my dog goes on or really close to it. These are the best!!! Hands down!!

Well I was excited when I saw there was a ‘rising side’ puppy pad. I have a senior dog and he can’t hold it as long as he used to. So I leave a pad down for him. But, this guy likes to stand right near the edge of pads and then pee. It goes on the pad but then some of the time ot leaks off the side so when I saw that the sides rise on these ones I was super excited.I just don’t know when they are supposed to rise. These pads ARE very absorbable and pee does not leak through the bottom. I will say that. They most definitely do hold pee Amd the floor underneath does not get wet. But, if your furry friend goes near the side like mine does, it will go off the side and then go under. The sides on the pads I purchased, do not rise up. Not with pee, not on their own. I tried shaking them, I read the whole bag thinking I was not doing something right. Nope, they don’t rise. There is a bit of extra pad along the edges though. I think that’s what they are saying ‘rises up. So even though this is a great puppy pad and really does hold pee and is very absorbing, the sides do not actually rise up. Even with that, I would buy them again.

The best so far! I got my puppy at 3 months and the first nite she did her potty on the pad(another brand). So my Shih Tzu is smart!But puppies sometimes can’t judge distance and her nose would smell the scent on the pad so she knew it was the right area but her little butt was off to the side of the pad and she had a lot of “misses”. Long story short I did some research and found these potty pads that have super absorbing edges!! Bingo!! No more misses because the pad pulls in the pee automatically!! Yay! No more mopping floors every time she uses her potty pads!! These are great. Pricier but worth my cleanup time!!!
