The feel is fine and it is a well made glove, but what makes it 3 stars is that my thumb hurts when closing it. This problem might just be a me issue but I just want people to know. I also bought the 12.5 inch first base glove and that glove was phenomenal with it's feel and it's ability to catch any ball thrown at you.

Bought for grandson. Went by the size for a 9-11 year old but he mush have big hand because it was too small for him. Had to send it back and get a bigger one. Not all the material is leather but was soft and would have been easy to break in.

You get what you pay for, with that being said. I did not buy this as a long term glove for my boy. He had just lost his old catchers mitt and needed one quick to break in for a weekend tournament and it worked as i expected it to work. It does not have a whole lot of padding but breaks in easily. Good price for what i needed it, this is just his backup glove or let other borrow kinda glove.
