Considering that this is 2 feet of bent stainless steel rod and a little silicone tip, it's well worth the money. It's very stable, and holds my heavy lead glass decanters with ease. They even ground down the cut end of the rod so that there are no sharp edges! Now that's attention to detail.

Great accessory for wine decanters. I have a few that are wide and they never seem to drain properly, or get all the moisture out. Just got this incredibly well designed device and it cleared up the problem in no time. The white nub at the top is a fairly thick soft rubber cap. Its very stable and it actually looks better in person than on the website pic. Ive included a photo of it in use. The decanter in the photo is a little over 8" at the base. Even a 12" base would still be stable.

This is an excellent drying stand, especially for the price. I was worried it wouldn't be steady, but that's not a problem. Despite the fact that the base isn't that wide, it's very stable. The height of the center rod makes it pretty versatile. It can fit water bottles, decanters, and growlers (not the really big growlers, of course). I put my small (32oz) growler on it and shook it a little to see how steady it was, and it barely moved. There's a 27oz stainless steel water bottle on it now. If I ever need a second drying stand, I'd definitely buy this one again.

These are a must after a formal dinner party and you are doing the washing up for all the liquor and wine decanters. The only problem was the rubber bumper at the top was too large for my Port decanter. Otherwise these work well for standard decanter openings. They are very sturdy for my thicker heavier liquor decanters. I bought six.

This is one of those products that you don't know you need but when you see it, you realize how useful it would be. I have used it once so far, and it works with a very long-necked decanter. I often found myself balancing the decanter in the dish drying rack, trying to make sure the decanter didn't tip over and hoping nobody would bump into it. With this drying stand I simply placed paper towels under it and lowered the decanter onto the stand. After a while I moved the decanter slightly, just to make sure it was drying evenly. It was and it did. Problem solved.
