The first few years we bought these products the bags were strong and very good. Last time we bought the bags I would guess 90% of them ripped while being put onto the container that they were designed for. I reached out to the supplier and they were very unhelpful., I will try them one more time then switch supplies

Estas bolsas si son realmente compostables, y tienen un buen tamaño para los residuos de comida orgánica. 100% recomendables en calidad y precio.

Aún no las uso, pero las abrí para ver a qué se debía que fueran tan caras y la primera que saqué tenía un hoyo, lo cual no es gracioso dado que es para basura orgánica, así es que imagino que mi bote se llenará de líquidos deliciosos que después deberé lavar.

Me encantaron las bolsas, son muy resistentes considerando que las uso para restos de frutas, verduras y cascarones. Resisten la humedad sin filtrarla. El tamaño es perfecto para mi (vivo sola) las pongo como forro de un bote pequeño, las mantengo libre de olores añadiendo cada dia un poco de bicarbonato, Con ayuda de una pinza de ropa mantengo la bolsa cerrada cuando no está en uso. Como compacto la basura me duran tres o cuatro días antes de saturarse y desecharlas. Son caras para mi pero las aprovecho al máximo y confío en la garantía de que el material de verdad compostable. Lo digo porque hay muchas bolsas en el mercado que son de plástico normal y solo les imprimen unas hojitas verdes o les ponen “Bio” y pretenden hacerlas pasar por biodegradables!

QUÉ LÁSTIMA (POR LO ECOLÓGICO) QUE NO SIRVAN DEL TODO, PUES EL TAMAÑO ES DIMINUTO (CAPACIDAD PARA DOS TAZAS, POR EJEMPLO) Y SUELE ROMPERSE FÁCILMENTE, SE RASGAN O LO QUE ES PEOR, A LA HORA DE QUERER HACER NUDO, SE ROMPEN. HAY QUE USARLAS CON POQUÍSIMO PARA QUE FUNCIONEN, POR LO QUE TERMINAS GASTANDO MUCHAS BOLSAS.

I love that these bags compost so well, but don’t plan on stocking up too many at once. I bought 4 boxes last year not knowing how many we would go through and I opened a new box last week and they had already started breaking down. I tried to open one up to put in the container and it just ripped apart in quite a few pieces. Tried 10-12 bags and all the same. Recycled them and bought a fresh box. All is good now. I have had no problem leaving a bag in container for a weeks time and still able to carry out to compost with no problem. I peel directly into container so pieces are not soaked from water in sink.

Son 25 bolsas por caja, tienen buen tamaño y resistencia, no son transparentes y me parecen demasiado practicas para el uso en cocina, considerando que también ayudas al medio ambiente.

Bolsas compostables, pero tienen que industrializarse, por lo que no sirven para hacer una composta en casa. Sin embargo, el material es muy resistente y sirven para botes de basura orgánica de no más de 8Lt.

I use these in my "Chef'n EcoCrock Counter Compost Bin" I am on my second box, and I am loving these bags.For years I used Biobags, and while they did an ok job, they didn't do a great job - they leaked something awful, making a mess of my counter top crock every time, meaning it had to be thoroughly washed to get the goo out every time I emptied it. They worked to keep the stuff together in the crock so it dumped all at once, but that was about it.These bags are a bit thicker, and the bottom of the bag contains all but the wetest stuff. When I empty the bag 2 or 3 times a week the mess is usually entirely contained (if it's a one bag week some liquids may leak out, depending on whats in there).I have occasionally carried it out to the compost heap without any support (usually I leave it in the crock inner bucket to carry it), and haven't had the bag blow out yet. I wouldn't try carrying it solo with really gooey stuff - these bags are designed to decompose, and with too much wet they will lose some strength.During the winter my compost pile runs cold, it's more of a decompose pile I guess until I get it reved up in the spring with garden waste. The bags have been breaking down nicely even in the cold heap.

These cost about the same as the ones you get at the dollar store or Walmart and are much higher in quality. They are thicker and keep odours in and fit perfectly in the Full Circle bin which I highly recommend is also worth it.
