I was skeptical of this product because some reviews mentioned that it was “useless,” but I was desperate to try anything that could reduce the amount of deer ticks hitching a ride on my dog and into my home.I frequently walk trails with my dog in tick-heavy areas. He has a very deep red coat. Seeing any ticks on him with the naked eye is impossible.Today was particularly warm, so after walking the trail, I decided to give this product a try. My dog is a Poodle with hair instead of fur, so I used the “grabbing” motion (as recommended per the instructions) across his entire body. I gasped as the ticks appeared on the mit! I effortlessly removed five tiny deer ticks from him!People may think this is overpriced, but the peace of mind and added protection it provides are beyond worth it. The mit shape will fit any hand well and makes the removal process effortless. Get it. It works!Pro tip: I found the whole throwing of the glove into the bag and into the dryer to kill the ticks a bit complicated, as I didn’t want to continue to use the glove on my dog with active ticks crawling on it.Before using the glove, set aside a small container or cup with some rubbing alcohol in it. Once a tick appears on the glove, grab it with your free hand (or tweezers), then dip those fingers (or tweezers) into the alcohol and release the tick in the liquid. The alcohol will paralyze the tick so it won’t hold onto your fingers/tweezers, and it will kill the tick fairly quickly. When done, flush the ticks and save the cup/container for future use!

The TiCK MiTT is a game-changing product!! I have never felt safer going on hikes knowing I can use this MiTT at any time and not worry about the chemicals that are in other preventative tick products.It is easy, I've removed several loose ticks from both myself and my dog, a Cavapoo with curly hair -- so the MiTT works with layered or textured hair. It doesn't make his hair staticky either.Shockingly simply and effective!! So glad I bought this and its a great gift to friends with pets or who love to be in nature.

Easy to use nice and soft and the dog enjoys it. Spotted a tick crawling on my dog and it did remove it, but any material similar would. All in all I would recommend this to carry in your pocket or bag when out and about with your pet.
