La barra es de buena calidad, se ve fuerte, da la sensación de confianza al colgarse, sin embargo, por mi peso (102kgs) y mi estatura 1.87 no confío lo suficiente para dejar todo mi peso colgando; por lo que no la he utilizado al 100% para evitar cualquier chingadazo innecesario. para personas de menor peso y estatura sí lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Preferí colocarla en el muro para no dañar los marcos de las puertas. Fue bastante sencillo y queda firme. Sobra decir que necesitan taquetes.He leído muchos comentarios de personas que optan por usarlo a presión, es verdad que se puedes hacer, pero.... ya depende de cada quien el riesgo que quiera tomar.

Llegó en perfecto estado, súper fácil de instalar, buena resistencia y materiales. Es una buena compra, lo recomiendo mucho para esta cuarentena y posteriormente.

La puse en el marco de la puerta sin montar los adaptadores que trae y la fuerza que tiene es suficiente para soportar mi peso (67k). La he usado para ejercicios incluso con bandas elásticas y sin problema alguno. Valió la pena la compra.

La barra en sí es de excelente calidad, te das cuenta en cuanto la agarras porque es muy pesada. La instalación es rapidísima si tienes lo necesario a la mano. La instalé en pared de concreto con 1 metro de apertura. Temía que al empezar a usarla se doblara un poco, pero es muy sólida y segura siempre y cuando se instale correctamente. El único pero te le encuentro son los tornillos que trae para ser instalada, son muy pequeños, así que tuve que usar unos mucho más largos, lo cual recomiendo para evitar accidentes.

Mido 1.92 y peso 85KGS aproximadamente. La barra me sostiene sin la necesidad de utilizar las piezas para dejarla fija; únicamente ajustándola a la puerta fue suficiente para generar la tensión y evitar caerse. Muy buena!

Es un buen aditamento para hacer ejercicio de barras, sin complicaciones, peso unos 80 kilogramos y me aguanta. Recomiendo poner los tornillos con las bases para colocarla, porque así sola y dependiendo la superficie puede resbalar y zafarse

This bar is a pretty sweet deal. I use to have one of these bars when I was younger. Now, at the age of 33 and at a desk job for the past two years, I recommend one of these. I did order one of the fancy pullup bars with all sorts of various grips, and despite my door frame meeting the specifications of this bar, the bar did not fit. The j/fit Doorway Pull-Up Bar can quite literally fit any door and is easy to install with a level and measuring tape.My only concern, and just for safety reasons, I didn't use the screws provided with the bar. It's important to know the construction of the door your hanging the bar on. My house is old and is build with plaster and lathe. The doorway where I put the bar has a good 1/2" of plaster, so the provided screws would not have been sufficient. Even if the door jam had wood right from the get-go, the screws provided could be beefed up a little. It's unlikely the bar would slip between the grip of the screws and the pressure the bar provides once it's tightened, but I'd rather play the safe card here. For an extra buck for six screws, I'd rather feel safe even if the longer screws provide nothing in addition. But, my situation is unique insofar as my door jam has plaster as the first material and not wood like most doors.Otherwise, save yourself the $50.00 on some of these ridiculous pullup bars, they all do the same thing, the others are just over complicated, unnecessary, and not worth the value they provide. This j/fit Deluxe Doorway Pull-Up Bar is easy to install, provides the same function as other pullup equipment for 1/2 the cost, and can literally fit "any" doorway as long as the doorway is within the measurements as provided in this products description.Thanks for a great American made product!

This bar is easy to setup, and comes with fittings for both chin ups and pull ups. Please note that you won't be able to use this product without screwing the fittings into the door frame. The screws are small, but you will need a drill to put them in.My only complaint is the grips are velcro straps, so, if they aren't positioned well, they can hurt your hands. With that said, the grips are soft and pretty good quality, so if they are positioned correctly, are very nice to use.It supports me very easily, and I am a 75 kilo male.Great buy for the money.TLDR;Pros - InexpensiveGood qualityBuilt to lastCons- Grips can be finickyWill have to drill holes into your door frame.

This pull-up bar worked great for my needs. I could quickly extend it into a doorway and do let-me-ups, instead of using a table. However, I went to use it today and unfortunately the thing has seized up. It extends by unscrewing, and the bar will hardly turn. I'm wondering if it bent, and now the internal parts are rubbing in ways that won't allow it to extend. This bar was fantastic while it worked, but I think I will look around for other solutions.UPDATE: I found out that their headquarters is just over the river from Portland, OR in Vancouver, WA. I contacted their support team and they said I could bring the bar in to see if they could fix it. They looked at it and gave me a brand new one. They were super friendly and understanding and helpful. Excellent customer service!

I have used several bars in the past and I have finally found one that is super sturdy, very safe and actually works. Several people have said that they don't use the end brackets but you have to be sure that you have the right kind of finish on your walls or doorway for this and you have to test it before each use. Some paint is just too slick and the bar will slide right down the wall. If you use the brackets than you will never have to worry about this happening as the bar only extends from one end, which is a real pain when you are initially installing the unit because it unwinds very slowly. In fact I thought mine was stuck so I called j/fit and they patiently explained to me that this is done purposely so the bar does not loosen while in use. It is a very carefully designed unit with several safety features which makes it a top of the line bar for home use. The ends have black rubber pieces which can create an extra cushion or suction to the wall or the end caps (I think this is why people are able to use it without the brackets). It only extends from one end which allows for double thickness through the middle unless you have a very wide door. One con is that the neoprene grips are placed in weird position and I almost gave it a 4 star because of this but when I asked j/fit if I had to use it in this position (even the picture shows this use) they said that you have to move the grips into position because the way the bar is designed, and extends from one end only, the grips cannot be positioned before shipment or they would have to put it in a very long box. I found this pretty easy to do, I just ran my thumbs around the inside of the neoprene to kind of loosen the grip and them jimmied them into the proper place. As soon as you release the suction of the grips, they are easy to move, just don't try to yank them into place.
