Loved this toy as a kid. Lots of inferior ones online I saw this at a toy shop while traveling and regretted not buying it. Then found it here on Amazon. This has a nice braided rope with rubber ball which will not scuff floors indoors. Bought 2 for Xmas gifts. Going to get one for me for my home gym. I can’t jump rope in by basement gym ( low ceiling) this will be a great alternative. Great for coordination, cardio fun!!

I've seen kids playing with similar toys, and it looked very fun, so I bought this one. I didn't do any research first, but this Skipper, made with rope is very hard to use. The rope kept getting tangled and twisted, and I could not get it going at all. Yesterday, I saw another style at the super market, called the "Jelly Twizzler Hopper" (also available on Amazon). This one has a plastic ring and a stiff cord instead of rope. I bought this, and was skipping almost immediately! So, I figured, now that I'm an experienced skipper, LOL, I'll try the rope Skipper again. Had a little better luck ... I was able to get it going, but only for about 3 times around, and then it got all tangled again. I think this rope Skipper might work, if I can keep it going very fast, so the rope stays extended, to prevent it from tangling. Too hard for me, but might be OK for kids or anyone with lots of energy and enjoy a challenge. I'll be giving this one away, and will be using the plastic ring one from the super market.

It's a simple toy, like a jump rope. It works just fine. Seems reasonably durable. We bought this and the Twister rave, because the rave was what my daughter really wanted. They're both good. This one is more simple, without all the batteries and lights, but that's what I like about it.

Very Durable! The ball is a hard rubber, not plastic. The loop works great on your ankle or socks, but not on long pants...it gets twisted on itself or caught in your cuff. The loop is too big for our 4 year old, good for our 7 year old and perfect for mom! Very fun.Great purchase

I loved the Skip-it when I was a kid and would play with that thing forever. I bought this as a way to exercise as an adult, and it really is a great cardio workout! But sometimes during use the cord gets caught up and tangled on my shoe, interrupting what was a really good run. I definitely prefer the hard plastic skip-it, but this is a good alternative.
