Description
The K&H Small Animal Heated Pad Deluxe Covers are designed to accompany our K&H Small Animal Heated Pad. The unique open weave design allows the heat from the K&H pad/bed to flow through to your pet. These covers feature a zipper closure for a secure fit and cover the entire pad/bed. Being machine washable makes for easy care.
This cover also fits the K&H Extreme Weather Kitty Pad Petite as well as the K&H Thermo-Peep Heated Pad.
Note: Please do not cover K&H Outdoor Heated Pad and Beds with other bedding or materials.

Easy Cleaning
Cleaning is a breeze, just throw the cover in the washer and wash in cold water, gentle cycle and line dry. We recommend having two covers to easily switch them out during washings, allowing your pet to never go without that extra comfort.

I like these as they do keep my rabbits warm. My only wish was that the hard chew resistant cable went all the way to the end as I didn’t get it straight out of the cage in the length of the chew resistant part and they chewed into the cable some until I could re-situate it better outside of it. I have water feeders that go all the way to the end and they work fine. I did buy 3 of these to

This was the perfect size for the old pet carrier I placed it in for the old stray cat that hangs around here. She loves the heat from it and now stays off the asphalt in front of the house where she was seeking heat. I placed this on my porch and she found it the first day. *I travel way too much to make her a house cat to keep her warm.*

I have never given this heater a bad a review. They are awesome, warm, perfect size, energy efficient and the functionality of the bed are versatile. They last a long time as a few years for the money. I don't even shop around. This is my go to for my chickens. They all have access to one every night. I have 10 in one coop for 12 girls 1 roo and 3 more in second coop for 2 girls 1 roo.

En la foto y en el título del artículo dice que es una almohadilla eléctrica, pero en realidad solo recibi una funda de almohada del artículo que se ve en la foto.

TíTULO FRAUDULENTO. Es sólo la funda. En el título da a entender que es el calentador, incluso menciona que es "eléctrico". NO dice en el título ni la descripción que es sólo la funda.

Ojo! Solo es la funda. La descripción no es tan clara y parece que es el calentador pero en realidad solo es la funda :(

First, these come under a host of names, small animal, chicken, and a few others - they are all the identical unit with different names - as the price is high and can vary greatly depending on how it is branded, look at all options.I own at least a half dozen of this specific size, and have given out at least another half dozen to other wildlife rehabilitators - they are that good. The heat is warm and gentle, and the animals from squirrels to raccoons, kittens to puppies, quail to seagulls all seem to find this the most ideal temperature. Oddly, humans seem to view these with disdain as they don't seem warm enough and the hardness is offensive - trust me, the animals love them, just don't waste your time with the cover they come with. The animals seem to either burrow under or remove it so they can lay directly on it. The 'deluxe' zip on cover is the only way to ensure they have 'softness' beneath them if you feel it is necessary.The hardness means it is super easy to clean, extremely durable; the wrapped cord too is highly protective, and I have yet to have a single creature damage one...now, that said, nothing is indestructible, and I am usually using these for infant or injured animals that are not at all destructive. So the answer is no, if your animal wants to use this for a chew toy, and is unsupervised they could absolutely damage it. But in my ten years of use, I have not had one suffer significant damage - aside from a wee bit of gnawing on the edge of one by squirrel needing to file down his teeth.SOME versions come with tiny pre drilled holes in the corners, super useful if you want to attach it to the side or wall of an enclosure - screws onto a solid surface, zap straps onto cage bars.I have yet to be disappointed with these mats, the larger black ones, or the even pricier temperature controlled ones. Nor have the vinyl ones for inside dog beds let me down; of the various other heated beds, or mats, or heated bowls.... I love K&H products.In over 20 years, I have only replaced a couple of the larger ones (that are in continuous, 24/7 use) in the outside kennels, and only because the plastic was starting to crack, and one I lent out was eaten by a German Shepherd who did not appreciate being crated!So, yes, they are pricey, but they are also an investment, and they use so little electricity, that alone makes them worth the purchase. This winter I plan to use a couple to keep the Anna's Hummingbirds happy, by setting their feeders on them when it gets sub zero!

Debería de tener más descripción el producto se da a entender que es el calentador pero solo es la funda del calentador de igual manera me sirvió y es un buen producto pero no es lo que parece.

I love these heated pads for both mammals and birds, adults or infants. But I hate the cheapie cover that comes with the pad, this is far superior both in material and the manner in which they are attached.If your critter will just destroy the fabric, don't waste your time. But if your critter would appreciate a cover that is zipped on (not stupid elastic across the corners that constantly falls off), soft, and cuddly then this upgrade is worth it.Top is fairly thick (double the cheap freebie one), soft and so far, seems durable. The underside is likely a nylon/plastic, sort of like you see for drapery linings...the zipper is sturdy, but is not covered so intrepid pets can unzip it and climb inside.They wash great, the only downside is this cover eliminates access to the holes some of these heated pads have for mounting - that said, if it is mounted (screwed or zap-strapped) it's pretty hard to remove the freebie cover.My only complaint is they ARE awfully pricey, but fortunately they do go on sale, that is when you want to stock up and get a few so that as soon as one is soiled you can replace it with a clean one without having to do a rush laundry load (wash with zipper open)!
