There are less expensive versions of this accessory but the "branded" version is well made and complements the bike rack nicely. This will space your bike rack back and up or down to solve clearance issues with a rear mounted spare etc. I like the fact the threads for the anti-rattle are welded in and not furnished via insert... to those lamenting the lack of a lock: I agree it would have been a nice touch but am left wondering if you realize the lock barrel that came with your Kuat rack hitch pin fits this as well 🤔...

Used with 2022 Jeep Wrangler + Kuat NV 2.0 and I can open the trunk just enough so that the window can swing open as well. Anti wobble pin works fairly well but not as well at the Kuat NV ball system. Also doesn't come with a lock so kind of makes the locking system on the bike rack pointless.

Great product. Suited my application perfectly! Kuat as a company would get 6 stars if I could. Their after sales customer support is second too none! Super rare nowadays. Awesome products, awesome company.

I'm using this on my 2017 Wrangler JK to drop 2" for circa 1999 five bike, fold back Thule bike rack which was hitting 17" M/T spare tire when attempting to open hatch. It now clears by a good inch when reversed for 2" drop and set at 7" (since I take three to four bikes which is some wight, and every inch back increases tongue weight, I used 7" position instead of 10" position).Connections are tight and secure, no rattles or sway.Early to say for paint, but paint does look well done with no blemishes.

Strong, well made Hi-Lo hitch that fit our purpose perfectly. The non-OEM Trailer hitches on our '12 Honda Odyssey sits in, under the bumper a ways which put our Swaggman 4 Bike Carrier too close when in the upright position. Using just a standard extension also puts these types of accessories too low to the ground. Kuat Racks Hi-Lo to the rescue. Perfect length to move the rack away from the bumper and afford a couple more inches of ground clearance.Highly recommended!
