This fly fishing kit is fantastic for the price. I can cast flies accurately and a good distance with the rod. The reel seat has a proper, threaded locking nut rather than a push-on sleeve.The anodised finish on the reel soon chips off, but the reel is very smooth in both directions and has an easily adjustable and powerful drag dial. The carry case is functional and has a pocket that will easily accommodate forceps, scissors, leaders, tippet and a chunky fly box. Excellent value kit.

Nice Rod. Installed the backing and put it all together. Feels nice and balanced. Caught some nice trout on it's Maiden trip. A good purchase in my book.

Rod broke second use and ruined my weekend fishing trip, tried to return and lady was rude to me on phone:/ didn't have box and the nearest drop off location is far from me, real busy with work so not worth the hassle to try and return:( hoping to find a replacement tip second hand that works, but yea can't recommend this product and amazon doesn't help back up returns. Shame I would highly recommend buying your fishing rod from a store and not on here
