I'm embarrassed to say that I am the proud owner of a puppy flashlight...HAHA! I actually made the mistake of showing it to my twin 15-year-old daughters, who happen to be dog lovers. "It's so cute...please get it!". If you're looking for a tactical flashlight with adjustable light beam and colored emergency lights, then this is not the light for you. If you have kids that want to cute flashlight, it can't get any better than the Tepreswes flashlight.I'm not going to lie, everything about it is pretty good and definitely great for kids. The light is plenty bright that is actually dimmable. It also has a strobe feature. The animal covering seems to add a layer of protection being that kids will be mostly using this flashlight. It also includes a tail that can be used to hang the light. The main thing is that my kids love it and I'm sure yours will too.

Calling this a ‘Kids Flashlight’, is an injustice as it is so much more! We don’t have any kids in our household anymore, but at times we still act like kids, with an accidental drop, etc., which I feel this flashlight could handle without issue. The grey coloring reflecting the appearance of a dog is more fun and comfortable than a typical flashlight casing.We do have a dog, so this flashlight is now allocated to ‘stay’ with our dog and not to move to another area of our house, allowing us to always have this handy light when heading out in the dark with our pup. The two little ‘tails’ allow me to conveniently hang this over the door handle.I appreciate the ease with which this charges, not needing to search out batteries and screwdriver that need the back screw removed to access the battery compartment. It’s so much easier to just plug this into a charging cord. This flashlight gets a hearty thumbs up with the convenience and service it provides.

Cute and durable. Also happens to be a flashlight, which is fine. I wish it didn't have a blinking mode - it gets old when the kids have it blinking for a long time.

I remember playing flashlight tag when I was a kid. We’d run around the streets and yards trying to tag each other with the light from one of those old fashioned tubular flashlights that were cumbersome and heavy. But it sure was a lot of fun.It’s too bad that kids these days don’t know the fun of actually playing and running around. I suppose the streets are probably more dangerous now than they were then but, still, most of the fun we had “back in the day” (oh, no, the phrase that stamps you forever as an old fogey) consisted of running around playing some game or another.If your kid wants play flashlight tag these days, you wouldn’t want them running around and holding out their thousand-dollar smartphone flashlight. One trip or fall would put a hurtin’ on both your kid and your bank account. As convenient as it may be to have a flashlight built into a cellphone, it’s still taking an expensive chance to be playing around with it.This series of animal flashlights are both inexpensive, convenient to carry and fun for kids to play with. You can choose a dog, a crocodile, a shark, or a lion. The flashlight is built into a soft silicone covering that is the animal’s body and the light shines out of their mouth. We ordered the dog version and it comes with two “tails,” one that ends in a ball and the other is tipped with a loop. You can put the two tails on either side of a belt or a belt loop slip the ball through the tail loop and – ta da! – the flashlight will hang safely.The body of the dog runs a little over 6 inches long and it is a little over 10 inches long from nose to the tip of the tail. It weighs just a little over 5 ounces, making it easy for even little kids to play with. All “corners” or edges are rounded and soft. This is a very soft and safe flashlight for kids. The set comes with the flashlight, a charging cable, a small instruction manual, and a fairly plain looking gift box.The flashlights are USB chargeable and, according to the product description, when fully charged the light will last up to 24 hours at the lowest setting. Speaking of which, there is a choice of three settings: very bright, low light, and flashing. Press the power button once and it lights up with its standard brightness. When you long press the button the light will dim. Give it a second press and it will flash and strobe. The makers recommend that kids use the lowest setting to protect their eyes but we all know kids and they’ll probably be using the brightest setting most often.Inexpensive, safe, fun, convenient, and functional, whether your child plays with it in the backyard or ‘secretly’ reads their favorite story under the covers at bedtime, they will love you for gifting them with this flashlight.

My granddaughter loves this flashlight. It’s a cute dog and easy for toddlers to hold.
