WELL PUT TOGETHER 3 INCH LIFT KIT FOR TJ JEEP. CAN BE DONE WITH HAND TOOLS IN THE DRIVEWAY IN HALF A DAY. ID GET NEW SHOCKS. I USED A SET OF USED LIFTED SHOCKS AND IT LOOKS NICE.

I purchased this for my wife's 2018 JKU. Just what I was looking for. It's similar to the RC 2.5" lift without the track bar realignment bracket, or a MotoFab kit (or similar). It has front and rear spacers, front and rear shock exgtenders, and front and rear brake line extenders, and the necessary hardware. At first glance I was concerned about the weld quality, as the welds on the spacers themselves were pretty uneven, but the design of the spacers is such that the welds bear no part of the weight, as the top and bottom plates rest on the body of the spacer, the weld just keeps everything centered. Aside from the welds, they look fantastic with nice powder coating. In comparing prices with other kits, I didn't see anything cheaper, and I'd say the build quality is worth every penny and more. Installation is pretty straightforward if you're comfortable with basic automotive work and have basic hand tools, jackstands, and a jack. Life will be much easier if you have two floor jacks (which I do), an impact driver, and a basic understanding of how the Wrangler suspension works. While you could probably get away with simply installing this, I'd highly recommend front and rear track bar relocation brackets and adjustable track bars . . . without the brackets your track bars won't be aligned properly with the rest of the steering geometry, which can lead to the "death wobble" (especially after hitting a bump), and the adjustable track bars will help realign the axles to be centered under your Jeep (the lift will otherwise slightly shift axles to the side). These function as well as any other basic spacer lift (I installed a few of these back when I turned wrenches for a living), and it met my needs perfectly. Even with nothing but a set of jackstands and a jack to raise and lower the axle once the frame is supported by the jackstands, most people with basic mechanical aptitude could probably complete this with nothing but a basic set of wrenches, an 18mm and 21mm socket and ratchet in a long afternoon. The provided instructions are basic, but accurate and well-written. If you know you're after a spacer lift, this is the best value I've seen.

These kinds of lifts are fine if you don't go off-road and don't stress the system. Ideally, I would have preferred a 2" kit, but I wanted to see how 3 inches looked on the daily. The construction is heavy-duty duty and the fit and finish is good for suspension parts. Installation was typical for this level of change, real tools, jacks and stands absolutely needed. Good price for what it does, and the 3" is a great look with bigger tires.

This kit is pretty straight forward and can be installed within a day if you know what your are doing. It is a great lift if you are using stock flares with 35's. You will need to purchase new shocks before install. I also recommend reading up on tuning and stabilizing if you are going to use larger tires. This lift kit is just part of the process.
