Very cute trivets. The brown is a beautiful color. Slightly taupe brown, not real dark brown. They are perfect size to set hot pots or bowls.

I just love the flower design! I use all 4 on my nightstand cause it helps hold Kleenex box and stuff from constantly falling off! Protects nightstand too!

I'm always needing trivets for one thing or another, so I did not hesitate to order these. They arrived neatly packaged containing four silicone trivet mats. The mats have a hole in each one for hanging for easy access. The upper side is a decorative flower petal design and the underside has raised rings around; they are approximately seven and a half inches across and have good thickness. The downside to the floral pattern is that it makes uneven areas so if a very tapered cup full of hot liquid is placed on it, it can tilt which I found out the hard way...so I won't be using these for that, unfortunately. Because they are sturdy, they are a little stiffer when using for pot holders, but will do in a pinch if need be. I like the size and the versatility but I'll utilize caution on some applications. For placing anything of a larger size, like hot dishes or pans, these work perfectly. I placed one under a teakettle and it is a perfect fit and keeps it from sliding around. I'd rate close to 5 stars.
