I liked the tone and sound of this clave because it wasn't so high pitch sounding. The wood finish is nice. It has a great indentation for sound so you don't have to stress trying to cup your hand. It works great for playing Hispanic/ latin Christmas songs. Shipping took quite awhile so unfortunately, I didn't receive it before my community Christmas/new years program. I'm really happy with the quality and the cost of the product. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

This item looks good,but sounds crap.Both claves are light and you will not acquire the depth in low tones that a good African claves or Cuban made bass claves produces I have many Cuban bass claves but after much use over 10, years there are splinters everywhere.My issue with this set is that the none hollow clave is too thin and light. Lovely polished instruments does are only good for ornaments.Very upset.

Muy bonitas en apariencia sin embargo suenan muy poco, casi no resuenan y a pesar que son muy cómodas su sonido es malo.
