While it is advertised as "Leak Proof" and it doesn't leak outside the box, there is nothing inside the box to prevent sogginess. I purchased well before school started and by the time it was used, we missed the return deadline. That's money down the drain! Very disappointing!

This is a great pair of stainless steel bento-style lunch boxes! What's great about these boxes is how roomy they are - with a capacity of 40 oz./1200 ml. Because of their stainless steel, they retain cold or heat very well. The lids do have a silicone seal - which is why they are leakproof, and the two interlocking snaps on the side secure the lid properly.I included a photo of my lunch today - and the bento box kept things perfectly intact, with no issues. Some of the sauce from the eggs side did seep over to the smaller compartment - but this is already noted in the product description, so they can't be faulted for that.Another plus about these boxes is due to their stainless steel material, they heat up quickly and evenly if you use one of those electric portable lunch ovens (like a HotLogic). You obviously cannot microwave this (do not microwave!) - but any of those food warmer hot plates will heat things up quickly using one of these. Easy to clean as well, and each box comes with a cute little carry tote.

Dividers haphazardly glued in with sticky residue all along the seams making it unsafe for food.

I have been using stainless steel lunch boxes for over a decade, and this set is economical, a good size, and easy to clean. The outer bag is a nice touch, but in truth I never used it so I ended up giving it to one of my children to use for storing some of her knick knacks.Although it is advertised as leak-proof, I seldom put anything with overt liquid into steel lunch boxes, unless I then store that in a zip lock bag. Be aware that it is an uninsulated metal box, so placing hot or warm items will cause the bento box to get hot as well.

These are a little bit smaller than I expected. They aren't big enough to hold an entire sandwich but they'll work great for snack type items or vegetables that have been cut up. The box its self is well made and the lid seals fairly well. Not tight enough that you can trust it with liquids but definitely tight enough that you won't worry about your food. The latches that hold the lids on fit very well and are built so that they don't look like they'll come loose on accident. These Bento Box's are easy to clean. Just throw them in the dishwasher. They also come with a small draw string bag that you can carry these boxes in.Over all and great option for taking you lunch and sturdy enough that they should last for a long time.
