The inflatable footrest pillow is well made and it is decent in size. Based on my measurement, it is 12” x 16” x18” when it is fully inflated. It is very sturdy and the canvas is similar to velvet, so very comfortable and soft when it is filled with air. There are two air chambers in the footrest pillow for easy height adjustment and the design is very good. At the bottom of the base has a layer of plastic, so it can be clean easily and it stop moisture and dirt away from the canvas.I like that I don’t need a manual or electronic pump to put in the air. The air valve is big enough to capture my breath and the air will not leak out between breath, it is a very clever design. It took me about 25 blows to fill up the big air chamber and about 12 blows for the small air chamber. It may take more if the person's lung isn’t in good shape, but it can be done in less than 5-10 minutes. I use it as a regular ottoman with my computer chair and it is very comfortable. My legs are happy and it is relaxing, so I can see how enjoyable it can be when it is on a plane or anywhere on-the-go. The only negative is I can’t really get all the air out after deflation and I can’t put it back to the included pouch. A pack of 2 footrest is good value and I will update their true durability after a few months of daily use.

I’m not a great flyer, so anything that can make a flight more comfortable is appealing to me! These inflatable footrests are a great idea. They are durable and hold air well. We’ve had one blown up for weeks, and it doesn’t seem to have deflated at all. However, they’re just so big (see dog for scale — I’m 5’8 and it comes up to my knees). Even deflated and collapsed into the included carrying bags, they take up quite a lot of space, especially if you’re limited in the size of your carry-on or personal item. You can choose to inflate one, two, or all three compartments of the footrest, but even with just one inflated, it has a fairly large footprint that might not fit comfortably in the legroom provided on some planes. My husband has started using one as a footrest in his office, and he’s happy with it there.

We don't fly much, so I can't speak to how well these will work on an airplane, but they are pretty awesome as footrests / portable footstools in general. We've used them as ottoman-style footrests, and my wife (who is under 5' tall) likes them as a smaller footrest if she's sitting at a desk or table for a while. Definitely could be a nice portable footrest to take to the office if you're stuck at your desk all day.I like that they have two air compartments, so you can inflate both for the taller option -- which we've used to create a nice ottoman-style footrest -- or you can just inflate one of the sections for a shorter footrest. The versatility is nice there. They're really easy to inflate. You don't need an air pump, which is nice if you don't have one or want to travel with one, but you could use one (they have the same hookups as an air mattress) if you prefer. If you want to inflate it with your breath, I recommend opening just the top clear plug (leaving the black plug in place as the black plug has a flap that will open to allow air in, but close to trap it, making it easy to inflate with just your breath). Took a couple minutes for me to inflate them this way. They are equally easy to deflate (open both the clear and black plugs to allow all the air out quickly); and once deflated, they roll back up into compact rolls. Each one came with a little bag in which to store it, so if you are using these on a trip, they're easily portable and would fit in a carry-on. I will say, the bags are a tight fit. It took me a couple of tries to figure out the best deflate/roll method for me to easily repack them, but now that I've found a fold and roll that works for me, I appreciate having the storage bags (they have little ties on them -- like the bags a camp chair comes in; they're kind of like that and just as tight on the fit).Material-wise, they're basically like small air mattresses. They feel like they're made of the same material, so they feel durable, and the sides and top are flocked for comfort.

Ordered this for a long flight between India and USA.These inflatable footrest pillows are easy to inflate- I would say 5 minutes for inflating. These are also very easy to deflate. There are 2 inflate/ deflate knobs on the footrest.I havent used them inside a flight yet but feels like these will fit as needed on the flight seats.Overall everything is good, however, a small plastic manual pump may have been a good addition to avoid us putting mouth to inflate these footrests. Giving it 4 stars for this reason.

The “pillow” is to large to fit on an airplane, car or train. The inflation process takes too much time and looks ridiculous.
