I am planning on using this as soon as I patch up the paint chip. I have used the same tension rod in the same bathroom for years, but one day, it decided to move down and took some chunk of paint with it.I use glossy paint in the bathroom, so this product should work. The sticky part and the catch tray is clear transparent, so they are very low visibility. Just enough lip to hold a rod.

[Feb 2025 - My unbiased review of Amuille's "4 Pack Adhesive Shower Curtain Rod Holder, Shower Rod Holders for Wall, Transparent Rod Retainer, No Drill Curtain Rod Brackets"]I ordered this set of four adhesive curtain rod holders for a curtain across a doorway, not for a shower curtain. The reason is that I wanted them to be as invisible as possible so I wanted the transparency of these holders instead of ordinary white or whatever. The instructions for these holders say the adhesive won't work on walls like ours ('orange peel' style paint finish) so I needed to find a different method of fixing the holders to the walls. In the end, I stuck the holders up into position, and added a couple of long thin picture frame nails through each holder. So far, so good.

Very easy to install. I'm not sure why the instructions don't say to clean the surface before applying. They also lack a note about how to measure for proper positioning. Common sense can take care of that, but as I'm not the best girl for home improvement tasks, I would have needed that tip, had I not had some messed up walls that already show me exactly where to put these things for a perfect match in level sides. Other than that, I don't have a real reason to complain. It's nice how invisible they can be, as my picture shows. Our walls were failing to hold up a rod years ago, creating a dent from excess reliance on pressure. And this might finally take care of it. Here's to hoping.

Moved into a new place, the existing shower rod brackets were broken. The previous owner had put in a tension rod, but it didn't really hold weight very well, especially if you tried throwing a towel on it in addition to the shower curtain. I will be doing a full bathroom renovation in the mid-term future, so I didn't want to put a lot of expense into an interim solution. These solved it perfectly, giving me "brackets" to hold up the tension rod. The adhesive is holding well, and the holders are nearly invisible.
