I have bought three of these - I think they are great for the money. I use them for small bathroom, laundry room and pantry windows in my house; rooms where I might want to just get a new shade periodically. The fabric is a nice weight and color, and looks pretty with the light shining through. They pull up and down easily, but one of them wanted to hang a little lower on one side when it was half up. For the price and convenience of the shade, I overlooked it. I would have given these five stars because they are so easy to cut to fit, to install; also, because they are remarkably sturdy for a stick-up shade and totally affordable. But hat little bit of crooked makes it only earns three stars.

Instructions are relatively easy to follow. It does take a very sharp knife and some muscle to cut both ends. With that being said, they are hanging nicely (hope the adhesive holds up) and they work perfectly for keeping the afternoon sun from coming in my odd-shaped old school windows and shining on my monitors when I’m working in my office. I am pleased.Update: after just a few days the adhesive on one didn't stay. Tried to press back in place and fell again a little while later. Will try to reinforce with mounting tape to see if that helps because otherwise they would be fine.

I liked the concept of this product: a self installable, self customizable, low expectation blind: the key being low expectation. The packaging and delivery were fine. The web links and QR codes were not - they were dead links. The install video they advertise is too simplistic. I found another install video by them that shows to take 3 measurements (top, middle, bottom) and use the smallest, which makes more sense. I used the smallest and the blinds fit until I installed the end caps. I could no longer raise/lower the entire length of the window. I had to remove the end caps and use a Dremel tool to shorten the bottom sides. Fine after that.Regarding customization (cutting), it is not as easy as they make it look (marketing!). But it gets the job done. Just be EXTREMELY careful and keep an eye on your fingers at all times! (keep your fingers splayed out at all times) Make sure you have no distractions during this procedure. (it may be helpful to wear gloves)At first, the adhesive seemed to work fine, but at day 3 fell down. This was on a newly installed and painted window. Extremely clean. I took a nailgun and tacked 3 brads into it. We'll see how long that lasts. The last issue I have is the bottom 75% of the time is not level. I have to continually play with left/right balancing to get it level, or until my frustration runs out.For the price, as long you have low expectations and are not going for a sleek high end look, then you should be fine with this. And regarding that statement, I would recommend this product but only after you've read many reviews and know what you're getting yourself into.Update: 12/17: 10 days after install and after nailing the blinds up, it is coming down again. As I mentioned previously that the bottom of the shade is not always level, the instructions indicate if that happens (should be 'when that always' happens), to pull the entire shade down to it's full length. After doing that a few times, which applies a lot of tension on the entire shade, it's starting to come down again pulling the nails with it. And before it came down again, the shade top was sagging where the strings attach to it from pulling to its full length so much. They need to re-engineer this product and make it a proper install with screws. I no longer recommend this product regardless of knowing what you're getting yourself into.Update: 2/2/23: Came back from 5 week vacation and blind was hanging sideways. Done with this.

I’m impressed with these blinds! First, the directions are easy to follow & they’re quick/easy to cut down to size. I made sure to clean my window trim with alcohol before applying the adhesive side. I’m hoping that prep helps them to stick better (a lot of people in reviews saying the adhesive doesn’t last, so we’ll see)! I did buy some double sided Gorilla brand tape just in case.I love that these blinds don’t have cords. I have little ones who like to pull hard on the cords (which is how the last blinds broke). The material seems sturdy (not cheap) & once they’re up, they look high end.I only ordered 4 for my living room/dining room because I wanted to see how they looked before committing to buying them for the entire house. Looks like I’ll be placing another order soon!
