The hub works very well, and I don't have (much) of a problem with the low-light leds. Of course, the on/off buttons work pretty well for telling if something is turned on (when on, the button is shorter).That said, it doesn't do one of the things I was hoping for. I regularly need to replicate many (around 40) thumb drives. It works at first, but then heats up and suddenly I'm having all sorts of reliability issues with the drives.I'm open to the possibility that some of my Sandisk drives are bad, too, but I suspect (from the temperature) that rsyncing 8 drives simultaneously just overwhelms this little guy.I'm only taking off one star, because it's an edge use (and for connecting multiple webcams, printers, etc., it works well.

When I needed more connections than my seven port USB 2.0 hub has been providing, I started shopping for USB 3 hubs and was disappointed by one feature that they have: really bright status lights. I had one unit that lit up my entire room at night. That’s not really a status light.I’m delighted by this USB hub. The all metal construction feels and looks great. On off switches work well, saves me from unplugging and replugging equipment. The status lights are visible, if you’re looking for them, otherwise they aren’t, which is perfect for me. The power supply should put out sufficient power for accessories. I found the USB cable a bit short and stiff for my needs, and substituted a longer cable.Hard drives should be on their own bus for best performance, as a busy hard drive should be able to saturate a bus. Just saying.

Funciona muy bien, el cable es grueso y la transferencia es excelente, yo en lo personal lo compre por la carga rápida que dice tener pero no me lo dio, de echo carga los teléfonos super lento

Después de usar con múltiples dispositivos y diferentes PCs, el dispositivo funciona mal y se desconecta en transferencias, da lag con teclados y ratones y no reconoce ciertas memorias USB ni adaptadores SD profesionales LEXAR. La marca es ACASIS funciona a la perfección.

Hace poco comenzo a no deectar mis dispositivos, conecté y desconecte, pero al parecer los puertos ya no sirven todos. La mentable porque no es barato.

Si quieres usarlo con un disco duro no lo recomiendo en absoluto; frecuentemente desconecta el disco y lo vuelve a conectar, aún si está en medio de copiar o reproducir un archivo. Esto es peligroso para el disco y tengo otros hubs que no me dan ese problema incluso sin alimentación eléctrica y usando dos discos a la vez. Lamentablemente me di cuenta de este problema después de que la ventana de devoluciones había expirado.

Escribo una reseña real porque a mí me gusta leerlas.Buena calidad de construcción, es pesado, metálico. Sin problemas conectando 8 discos duros externos auto-alimentados de 2.5'', y transfiriendo datos entre ellos.

This powered USB hub is exactly what I needed. it works just as I had hoped and I am very satisfied with the build and functionality. I have a number of external USB drives that I do not need powered on continuously, so it is nice to have individual on/off switches on each port. I can keep them all connected and turn them on or off as needed The only critique is that the LEDs are all underneath a mirrored surface, so if I am not looking at the device from directly above at a perpendicular angle, I cannot see whether the LEDs are on or not. But that's okay as it is a very minor concern and because I'd rather not have those lights distracting me while I'm working on my computer anyway.Overall it works well, and I would definitely recommend this device to someone else who is looking to purchase an affordable and solidly-built powered USB3.0 hub.

I haven't written many reviews in the past, except when the product is really bad to warn other buyers, or when it's really good. This USB hub is awesome so far. The metal construction feels solid, I like the on/off buttons for ports, and of course I like that it's 10-port USB 3.0 HUB for less than $40. I have not tested the USB 3.0 speeds but so far it works great! Good job Rosonway.Update: So it's been over 1 year since July 2020 when I started using this hub. It is a great hub and it's working well but there are few small shortcomings. It comes with 3 foot USB 3.0 cord and I bought 6 foot cord so it can comfortably reach where I want it on my desk. It can be hard to see if the little blue light is on and the surface is reflective mirror which makes it harder to see and sometimes light reflects into eyes. I would recommend to manufacturer to remove the mirror surface and move the blue light next to the button so you can see when you press it. That's it! It's a awesome hub!

So many USB hubs are made of plastic and and don't seem durable. Some of them are super expensive.But this USB hub is made of aluminum and feels solid. It even has buttons to enable/disable each port. And even better, the buttons are physical buttons that click on and click off in two positions. Not only do they remember their state, this design seems likely to last longer than a button that only sends a signal to some circuit to switch states. There is a light by each port to indicate if it is enabled, but it's subtle and not overpowering (although I wish it weren't blue). To top it all off, the price is reasonable!About the only downside is that the power adapter is a huge brick with the plug built in, rather than a separate cable with the plug. This means it my not fit in a small space or on a power strip that has other things plugged in as well. Luckily I had an existing power adapter that I used instead; otherwise I would have been disappointed and sent it back. (Note to manufacturer: please switch to a power adapter that uses a separate cable for the plug.)When I purchased this it only had one or two reviews, so I was a little hesitant. I'm glad I purchased this. I haven't found another USB hub that is as good a value.
