I absolutely love this thing! The other tools I’ve used for coring out jalapeños have worked, but some were a pain, this one is super easy and it works perfectly, I love it. Definitely recommend!

We deseed our Roma tomatoes for spaghetti sauce. As these are made for slender jalapenos it is perfect for Romas. Pulls out all the core and most of the seeds. No waste. Freeze them 24 hrs. And put in warm water. The skins fall right off. Love this tool so bought another one!

I bought this tool because I save the seed from super hot chilis and hoped to remove the seed with the pith quickly and with less hand contact. I bought it, didn't like it and went back to a paring knife. Next time I had a big harvest I tried it again and got the hang of it, so I am saving some time, but not enough to keep it in the kitchen drawer. The tool is well made. I will likely play around with it for a while, maybe modify it a bit. For larger chilis or bell peppers this tool is perfect. I am using this on reapers, ghosts, scotch bonnets and such, which are less than 2" long and 1" diameter and some have very thin skins, which makes a sharp paring knife a better tool.
