Excellent factory part to keep your bike upgraded or spare parts on hand. What can I say? It's a genuine Shimano part. I always buy the good stuff!

My front rotor on my Trek Checkpoint was squealing and I tried all the recommended fixes without resolution so I decided to buy a new rotor which did the trick. Just be aware that this comes with a lock ring with notches on the outside diameter instead of the inner diameter, requiring a 16 notch bottom bracket spanner like the Shimano TL-FC32 to tighten the lock ring.

My Trek Emonda brake rotor was squealing and no amount of cleaning or sanding stopped it. I ordered this replacement and it was straight and fit perfectly. It took some bedding work but the squeal finally stopped. I ordered the Park Tool FR-5.2GT Cassette Lockring 12mm Tool in order to install the rotor which added $15. You have to check your bike to be sure you have the correct tool. At almost $46 this is not a cheap part, but it works as it should.

2021 Giant Stance 2. Went from 180 to 203, and wow, it does make a difference! The original 180 now swapped to the back replacing the native 160mm. All around wonderful.
