I already had the decanter, so I ordered this too. It’s fairly basic, but functional. It solves the problem I noticed when I got the decanter and washed it, I didn’t have a great way to get it dried. Now I do.

I am so thrilled with this wine decanter drying stand. I never knew anything like this even existed until I accidentally stumbled on it.I have broken so many pieces of glassware over the years that it is embarrassing. Several years ago my husband bought a glass wine decanter. I constantly feared it would eventually become a casualty. Cleaning that decanter has been a nightmare!! I could not figure out how to properly dry it. I laid it sideways, wrapped it in towels and place boxes around it so it would not roll off the countertop This drying process required a huge area of my countertop If that was not annoying enough I get water spots on the decanterNow no more worries because this actually works!!! I will no longer frown when my husband takes the decanter out of the closet. This stand has a gray rubber coated top that prevents the stand from scratching the glass and also grips the decanter so it does not move around. The base is wider than the top so the stand is very stable. It requires a much smaller to area to dry. I have far less water spots on the decanter. The best thing--- I am able to store the decanter inside the stand; when I take out the decanter and also have the stand. No need to go to a separate closet or shelf.I am happy with this product

I have chipped a decanter in the past from trying to find clever ways to hang it upside down to dry. Unfortunately, one of those days did not end favorably. After replacing that decanter, I didn't want to take another chance with the same outcome and was pleasantly surprised to see this product. The drying stand is fairly simple and just a metal wire stand. I did find it to be a bit too expensive for what it is, but still not too far off value. I really like that there is an extra rubbery grommet on the top of the stand so as to protect the decanter when set down also.

I am so glad that I ordered this drying stand for my wine decanters. The drying time has cut down substantially and so have the issues with spots. (I live in hard water country.)This is a nice companion piece if you choose to give a wine lover a nice decanter. It is not especially packaged for gifting; rather it is packaged for efficient transport.
