Initially I didn’t like these brand of tape measures. But after trying out a few other big name brand ones and comparing them to Spec Ops, I’ve found that they are actually pretty good. I am returning all my other tape measures I bought and only using this brand. I really love the double side printing, the fractions, etc.I do recommend these tape measures.

I started using this 8 months ago at a new QC job. This tape gets used all day 5-6 days a week. It’s been very good for the abuse I put it though. It has finally started to wear out. I do long extended measurements. And now it will extend to about 10’. But over all has worked great.

I’ve been using the measuring tape while rebuilding my deck. I can read the numbers well which is good considering my fading eyesight! The recoil is excellent, so much that I’ve snapped my fingers a couple of times but at least I’m not having to feed it back in.As a Veteran, I personally appreciate that 3% of each purchase is donated back to us, Veterans!

A bunch of hype.Upon First Use, I had to put it away and get my old tape...Product Description states: "No BS Stand Out: 12' Standout at 15° for up to 15' of real-world job site reach"I only need 8 foot of stand out, all day everyday....it Failed.Product Description states: "Powerful Magnetic Hook"Magnetic Hook is not strong enough to hold long enough for a measurement, only strong enough to grab everything I didn't want to grab along the way.Product Description states: "The non-slip bat wing hook holds fast"The Top of the 'bat wing hook' will not hold anything, it folds the tape.Measuring Tape Blade is super thin.My old tape, a $12 Stanley 25' has a thicker (but same width) blade, and can stand-out 8'.Bought a Milwaukee 25' with 12 foot stand-out. It actually will stand-out 12'and it also has measurement readings on both sides of the tape.
