I don't normally do reviews, especially for small items like this, but I read quite a few bad reviews on this product and thought to my self it only costs a couple of pounds so buy it and see if it works.Well it does! I've got a 2-port USB KVM Switch so I can switch between two PC's, but the cable has VGA connectors and I needed DVI on one of the connectors.Works perfectly and saved me lots of money trying to find another solution.Thank you StarTech.com

El producto funciona bien. Creo que estaría mucho mejor que se especificara que es dvi-i dual link en vez de dvi-i 24+5.

Precio económico. Lo uso para tener dos monitores. Ya que el segundo es antiguo y solo tiene salida VGA y el PC no, me sirvió perfecto.

Compré una Nvidia 710 y no traía el conector vga, este adaptador me funciono a la perfección se ve de calidad, lo que no me gusto es que de ves de comprar dos unidades de este producto como mínimo hay no mas tengo el otro guardado.

Updated: September 11, 2020I had planned on taking the guts out of my small ITX case and drilling a hole for a VGA connector, but wanted to try something before I went down that road. I swapped out the VisionTek Silent 5450 Graphics card and swapped it with an Asus Silent 5450 Graphics card and tried this StarTech adapter again and what do you know, everything works great as I had hoped it would originally.Only thing left to figure out is the difference between two brands of 5450 Graphics cards which look similar and have the same connections but different behavior.Original Review: August 22, 2020By all accounts this product should have worked but it did not. When I used it the display was much larger than the 1920 x 1080 that it was set to. When I switched back to using the VGA output on the video card everything was as it should be. The only reason I cannot use the VGA output is that I have an ITX case with one half-height slot and the VGA connector would need to be in a 2nd slot connected by a cable. Down the road, I will gut the ITX case and make an opening for the VGA connector that comes off of the video card. For now I have to have a DVI cable to run this computer on a display. I needed VGA so I can switch it with the KVM. My tests were done w/o a KVM, so the KVM was not the issue. I wanted it to work but it would not work for me. Maybe it was defective?

No viene con información suficiente y puedes caer en confusión por los múltiples tipos de DVI qué hay

I bought this to use with my video card that has dual DVI out and a KVM switch that required a VGA cable, this works like a charm. The video quality is excellent, comparing both my monitors, one using DVI the other a VGA cable the quality is the same.Just be aware the MAX resolution supported by VGA is as 1920x1200 which is the limit of monitors.

Un adaptador sencillo, funcional y que cumple su cometido. Es pequeño y facil de colocar, lo recomiendo si necesitas un monitor secundario y no cuenta con la entrada adecuada.

Es un adaptador poco agradable a la vista, parece de los 90s, pero es bueno, hace lo que promete y lo hace bien. La calidad de imagen es buena, y no requiere tanto espacio.
