US-16x08
USB Audio Interface / Mic Preamp
The TASCAM US-16x08 captures 16 mic and line inputs to your computer with clear sound quality and advanced features to manage big sessions. Eight Ultra-HDDA microphone preamps deliver the cleanest and quietest operation in their class while delivering up to 56dB of gain. An additional eight line inputs are provided, two of them switchable to instrument level for direct guitar or bass recording. Eight balanced line outputs are also available, two with a level control on the front panel for monitoring.
Built into the US-16x08 is a DSP Mixer for low-latency digital mixing. Each channel has four-band EQ and compression for polished-sounding monitor mixes. In addition to interface mode, the US-16x08 can be used stand alone as a standalone mic preamp. Mac and Windows drivers are provided, as well as USB Class Compliant 2.0 drivers for tablets like Apple's iPad. MIDI input and output are also available on the rear panel.

Ultra-HDDA Mic Preamps Deliver Low Noise& Low Distortion
TASCAM's Ultra-HDDA (High Definition Discrete Architecture) mic preamp design is based on discrete components, just like classic professional gear. They achieve an incredible EIN rating of -125 dBu, meaning their noise level is practically below the range of hearing. Other impressive specs include a signal-to-noise ratio of 100 dB, out-speccing anything in its price range. But instead of judging the design merely by test measurments, key components were selected following extensive listening tests.
Rock Out with Amp Simulator Software using the Guitar Inputs
The first two channels can be switched to direct guitar inputs. They're ideal for direct recording of electric and acoustic guitar and bass without the need for a preamp. Use them with amp modeling software, like the TH2 effect included with SONAR X3.

Angled design provides excellent usability on a desktop
The angled design makes desktop viewing and operation much more comfortable for tabletop use. All other interfaces have their controls on the front or the top of the device, causing you to crane your neck to read the knobs and switches. The US-16x08 are at a natural angle, making operation easier to keep you creative.
A pair of rack ears are also included for use in a standard 19" equipment rack.
Separate Volume Controls for Headphones and Line Output
The US-16x08 includes both headphone and line output volume controls. Even when both powered monitors and headphones are connected, the user can set an optimum level for each during operation. And when you want to work on headphones, you don't need to reach around to switch off your monitors.

A mí parecer muy buen producto y muy buena calidad. Por años he ocupado Tascam en Máquinas multitrack y grabadoras portátiles sin tener problemas así que la US-16x08 no me generaba dudas respecto a la calidad o los componentes pero al recibir el paquete y hacer el respectivo unboxing me parece que ningúna foto o video le hacen justicia al equipo. Se ve más robusto en físico, la carcaza es metálica y aunque las perillas y conmutadores son de plástico se sienten de una plástico con buena calidad.El manual está en varios idiomas y las instrucciones son fáciles de seguir. Solo descargue el controlador desde la página de Tascam y al instante mi Macbook Pro reconoció la interfaz en sus diferentes modalidades de bit rate y sample rate. Solo como observación las instrucciones indican que sin conectar el cable USB de la interfaz a la computadora se descargue el driver y se instale.Probé con ProTools 2020.12 en 24bits/48khz y en 24bits/96khz sin presentar problemas o clicks digitales, además probé con Google Chrome y Youtube algunos vídeos solo para checar si presentaba alguna falla pero todo bien al momento.

Justo lo que esperaba, la calidad es increíble la interface y usabilidad la calidad del audio sus preamps y el ruteo de señales así como la capacidad real de grabar 16 canales la hace muy suaperior a otras que se ofertan en el mercado

Es un excelente producto, funcionó con mi MAC sin problema (funciona en todos los DAW's) ... Suficientes entradas y salidas para una grabación estándar... No una gran orquesta desde luego,La latencia es casi inpetseptible, su construcción es garantía en ésta marca. El que se pueda usar como mezcladora (sin conectar a la compu) es un buen plus, además tiene un buen compresor y EQ.... Por el precio no creo que haya algo mejor.

Genial, funciona perfecto en Mac con Logic Pro X y en iPad con GarageBand, el único detalle es que windows tiene fallas de drivers por firma digital, como que no están bien optimizados para windows 7,pero tiene una solucion que se ejecuta desde el BIOS, de ahí en fuera todo perfecto, funciona como Mixer, interfaz de 16 canales y como preamp de microfonos, se puede usar incluso sin necesidad de conectarla a la computadora (solo como pre amp de microfonos).

La tarjeta muy bien. Pero no viene con Ableton Live lite 9. Desepción porque me decidí por esa tarjeta porque se supone que venía con la licencia para el Ableton...

La tarjeta de sonido Tascam US-2x2 USB Audio cumple con todos mis expectaciones. El preamplificador de la entrada una hace un trabajo muy bien con mi viejo Sennheiser MD 421/2 micrófono dinámico mientras con la segunda entrada está conectado un condensor micrófono MXL 770 que es siete veces más sensible que el famoso Sennheiser. Ambos micrófonos funcionan con el Tascam US 2x2 muy bien y sin distorsiones del entorno. Además no hay problemas con el voltaje 'phantom' pa alimentar con 48 V el MXL 770 mic con el Sennheiser también conectado.Uso como DAW, estación digital de audio el programa Reaper que me da la oportunidad de hacer mi trabajo más o menos de manera intuitiva. Hay una versión lite del programa Live de Ableton con código pa descargar y usar gratuitamente y es siempre una cosa personal que programa es el preferido. La tarjeta de sonido externa de conexión USB a computadoras pa sistemas operativos conocidos llegó con audiphonos Tascam TH02, cerrados, quienes no absolutamente dejan afuera el sonido del entorno pero con buena calidad y muy bien el volumen hacen su trabajo como monitor de grabación.DHL llevó rápidamente el envío a casa.

The Tascam US-4x4 interface and the Ableton Live 9 Lite software work great.Live 9 can be used to input all four inputs of the interface anyway you want and output to all four outputs anyway you want. You can also configure the interface to monitor it's inputs to avoid any latency problems.The software is pretty complicated if you are not familiar with this kind of software, I wasn't. Once I figured the software out, which was very painful because I kept fighting it, it turned out to be very useful and easy to use for recording and mixing. The software does come with a 600+ page manual which is actually pretty good, and when you park the mouse on just about anything it gives a simple explanation of what it does.The interface comes with drivers to connect Live 9 through the USB to the interface, also other driver can be seen and used by Live 9 such as the built in inputs and outputs of the computer. It also comes with drivers that emulate patch cords so you can connect various program inputs and outputs to the Live 9 software. The problem with using the drivers is the latency is pretty high, about 250 ms. The best I can figure Live 9 has built into it the ability to use ASIO to talk to the interface, this is nice because latency is only 25 ms, but you can't use any of the drivers that come with the interface. In the preference settings for Live 9 it's one or the other. I chose to use the ASIO for the low latency, I can actually loop everything through Live 9 to the monitor speakers with no detectable delay. I prefer this because if I can here it then I know the various tracks in Live 9 are setup correctly. To use the drivers you must configure the interface to do the monitoring and not loop through Live 9, the latency through Live 9 will drive the singers crazy. The latency is not caused by Live 9, it's the drivers because they use the Windows OS, ASIO bypasses the OS and goes straight to the interface.The bottom lines is, I like the interface and the Live 9 software. I'm actually able to have real recording sessions and then mix them down into stereo tracks and then output to wave files.
