This is a very impressive piece of kit -- don't expect a run of the mill kitchen scale when you order this. Everything is premium, starting with the packaging and extending to every detail. You can get as little information as the weight (g or oz) of whatever you place on it, and you can get complex with measurements including flow rate in g/sec, separate weights for the poured water and extracted liquid, and a timer which can be operated manually or put into an automatic mode. Out of the box, there is a transparent sheet pre-installed with operating instructions labeling the various buttons to help you learn all of the controls. This can be easily removed once you have them mastered.The design is very modern-looking and attractive, and would make itself at home in any kitchen including the most upscale. One note - I did struggle a little to assemble the dripper ring onto the vertical rod. The fit is so tight that I could barely get it to slide into place. At first I assumed I had neglected to remove something, but I scoured the instructions over and over and as best I can tell, it's just super tight. I got it on, but sliding it up or down to accommodate different vessel sizes will be a bit of a chore, if needed.

I bought the 2.0 after my original Timemore starting acting strangely. I had looked at other options to replace it, but it's hard to ignore Timemore's price points. The 2.0 display is much more responsive, I'm able to nail my pours down to the gram, even when I'm pouring fast. The flow rate indicator is a bit less reliable, especially at slower pour rates, but still occasionally useful.

For light kitchen duties, especially for coffee brewing that does require weighing and timing, this is a no brainer. Sleek design, functional, easy to use. Just know this, it does ship with a USB to Type C charging cable, but it DOES NOT ship with a charger. So I had to order the recommended charger which was a 5 volt, 1 amp charger. Three of these chargers cost 8 bucks on Amazon.

No puedo creer lo útil y buena que me ha salido.La uso esencialmente para preparar café y pesar mis comidas pero debo confesar que la uso igual para mis vaciados y resinas que requieren precisión en miligramos y me dejó impresionado. Hasta la presión del aire del ventilador de techo hace que se mueva el peso.

This will definitely get the job done for measuring the weight of coffee beans. I've found that the touch points for tallying weight and starting the timer are extremely sensitive, so beware of that. Otherwise, it's a very good scale. Capable of measuring precise amounts.
