This fit my 2017 ford edge titanium but the hood release latch was not making great contact with the release latch. All I needed was the sensor so I used the new sensor on the old hood latch assembly. That screw stripped out so I had to use a different and a more aggressive threaded screw. Happy with the results and happy with the price

Our previous latch failed so we immediately ordered this replacement and it was perfect. Great quality and it went on pretty fast. Right after we installed it we went on a trip and have had zero issues!

This is a direct replacement for my original part. I have a 2009 SEL without remote open. My original sensor stopped functioning. I replaced the latch and now it no longer reads as open even when closed.
