As far as functionality, they're ceramic cups; they do the job. The white one is very smooth inside and out, while the black one has ridges all around it, including the inside. (made me weary using a plastic chop stick to stir my honey in, like the ridges were going to wear off the plastic into my drink, so stir with metal if you overthink everything). They are 10oz exactly, so they're paired perfectly with a 10oz tea kettle. graphics are inlayed, haven't worn off at all through multiple washes. I only hand wash them. Heat transfer can be a small issue, my tea is temp'ed at 185° so i tend to wrap a towel around it to carry them.

Puffer fish? Yup! Loved these, so did the person to whom I gifted them.

Absolutely adorable. I like that they are small since I drink small amounts of tea/coffee beverages. They do get hot easily, but that’s to be expected from handleless mugs. If heat is an issue, then I don’t recommend you purchase these mugs. Go for the ones with handles.

These teacups exceeded my expectations. They’re well crafted, beautiful, and the perfect size. They do get pretty hot when you first fill them with tea, but they cool down pretty quickly. Excellent value.

I love the design and artwork of these tea cups, but if being honest, because they were made in China I have lead concerns with the darker one. I only use the white porcelain one. The darker one I use for decorative purposes.
