This arrived in envelope with box inside torn. It did not come with stick and no way to communicate this problem. Disappointed.

I bought this for taking to ball games it really helps in winning. This doesn't have an inner dong (sorry I don't know the actual name) that's why it comes with a boomstick. I've seen reviews complain thinking they're getting one with the inner dong but the pictures are obvious it doesn't have one.The boom stick is much sturdier than I thought it would be. It looks like it could easily break but it has gotten heavy use at at least a dozen ball games and it's still going strong. It does have a nice range of tones and the sound carries well.

I bought this to add a new instrument to my percussion repertoire. It turns out 8" is a lot bigger than I realized. (Don't take that the wrong way folks...) And it's LOUD. I knew as soon as I opened it and tried hitting it with the included stick that it wouldn't work for me, and I returned it. But it seemed well made so I have no reason to give it a lower rating. If you need a LOUD cowbell, go for it.
