Das Kunststoffteil, welches den Haken verriegelt, leiert leider nach kurzer Zeit aus und ist somit funktionslos.

Love these - so many uses.Hanging objects outdoors in AZ - with changeable weather that includes high winds, dust storms and intense sun requires a durable, secure option. These carabiners are perfect. They're marine grade, but can't speak to those uses.

I was in the market for a new carabiner and someone actually referred me to the brand Nite Ize with the SlideLock feature. I picked the marine one because I like the colorway but I'm sure just the normal ones work just the same. Quality is on point. I have #4 and I keep the bottom half always locked with 5 normal keys and 1 car key with a key fob, along with a nail clipper and an Ikea card with still plenty of room for others. The top half I attach to one of my jeans belt loops and I lock/unlock with ease when I need to take them off. I really enjoy the SlideLock feature as the previous carabiner would sometimes unlock itself when I bump into this but the Slidelock is nearly impossible to unlock by accident but it's also quickly unlockable when you need to detach it. I can definitely recommend this and would buy another one if needed.
