I have many pelican cases but this 1450 my first one and I purchased from Dubai , I must say this is the most rugged protector series case it can hold one S1 camera and one or two compact lens only with a battery mine is desert Tan and I love it's quality must say build like tank . If u want little large one better go for Storm iM2450 , I purchased each pelican cases after days & months of deep research , must say these both are the best strong cases ever made .

This is the second one of these cases I've purchased. The first one I bought was black and of the same specs for my camera equipment, about $3,000. I bought the second one, yellow, to protect a drone I purchased, about $1,200. I have not put these cases to any abuse. I have not gotten them wet or thrown them around but they certainly appear to be as advertised. I have confidence in the quality and durability of these cases. The latches, handle and hinges seem nice and sturdy.The pick and pluck foam is fairly easy to "mold" to your needs. The foam is about five inches or so in depth, depending on whitch case you buy. It is about 1/2 inch square and "tacked" together throughout.Open your case. Lay out your items on the surface of the foam. Adjust where you would like your items to lay in the case once your foam is cut. I used a butter knife to "carve" around my items once layed out. The knife will break the "tacking" of the foam material. Be gentle and take your time to get it right. Once you have "carved" around your item and broken the "tacking", remove the foam cut out with your hand, making sure that all of the tacking is loose around your item profile. Lay your cut out and item next to one another on a table, this is so you can get your height measurement. Take a sharp knife or scissor and trim off the excess foam for height/depth, be careful not to cut yourself. Take the foam that you cut and place it back in the hole you removed it from. Your item should now fit snugly in the cut out. Rinse and repeat for your other items that you want in the case. I hope this helps. Once you get your case and see the foam this explanation will make more sense, I hope.Overall 100% satisified.I think these cases would suit many needs: firearms, cameras, drones and many more items that need protection.

Excelente producto, en ella guardo perfectamente una D7200, con su lente y tres lentes extra más dos baterías y un espacio para accesorios. La caja es muy resistente.

Las pelican son maletas de calidad, siempre son garantía. Esta en particular fue más barata por ser amarilla pero la verdad es que el color es muy atractivo, luce muy bien. En este modelo puedo guardar una 6500 con su case, manija, un 50 mm, un 28mm, un 10-18mm y un 24 mm; así como pilas y cargador

期待通りしっかりしていて満足なんですが、非常に残念な点が2点。貼られているステッカーに空気が入っていて浮いている。針でも刺して空気を抜くしかない。できれば新しいものを貼り替えたいぐらいですが、ステッカーだけでは売っていない。それから中を開けて、ウレタンフォームを取り出すと、裏側が少し折れ曲がって入っており、1ブロック20センチほど切り込みに沿って1段程ちぎれていた。

I have a lot of Pelican cases for a variety of purposes. The acquisition of the 1450s (I bought two of them) yet again confirms Pelican's stellar quality. The 1450 is built like a tank. It's stronger than needed for most conceivable uses - which is exactly why Pelican fans keep buying them - locks up tight and stays tight, is built to take HEAVY abuse while protecting its contents, and even has a comfortable handle. All at a reasonable price. Now how are you going to argue with that.By the way, "HEAVY" abuse doesn't mean dropping the thing. It means surviving 10 story drops, freeway falls including car impacts, bear assaults, etc. Yes, the latches are a little tight. I like them that way - it's part of the protection.While I have bought a Pelican case or two that was over or under-sized for my intended purpose, I have never returned one yet. All found a use, and I subsequently, happily bought one the right size. There are very, very few products I've purchased where I can say *that*!
